First river crossing

Not really a river only a burn ,scots for a stream, continuing on our way to Aviemore through the hills.  We still have a way to go yet.

Andy is trying to keep his feet dry but had no luck.

Best way to wade rivers is to take your socks off then put your boots on again and when you get to the other side empty out the water, socks and boots on again and keep going.
Wading in bare feet not a good idea, slower and more liable to slip or damage the feet.  Not a thing to happen a long way from help.
