Le Pont D'Avignon

The song goes 'Sur le Pont D'Avignon' but apparently it was originally 'Sous le Pont ...'.  Anyway,  half of it got washed away so this is all that is left.  

It's a shame as we missed the last ferry back to our campsite by 5 minutes and had to yomp miles to get to the new 'Pont D'Avignon' which is not designed with pedestrians who missed the ferry in mind.

The Mistral is in full 'blow' at present.  Although it is sunny and pleasant temperature,  it is blowing a gale and a half as you can see by the angle of the trees in this picture.

We had intended to cycle up Mont Ventoux (aka the windy mountain) but that plan is out the window in this wind (together with anything else we haven't tied down in the motorhome!)
