What is this?

We have 1/2 a dozen of these weeds growing on our builders patch of a garden. The are not cultivated flowers, and are quite pretty, just no idea what they are. See my Extra picture today the obligatory bird [Goldfinch] I overdid things today, it was lowtide but I still swam, this evening sadly my foot is throbbing. Will it ever get better?
