Flower Friday

The weather has been pretty ordinary this week and this afternoon we had torrential rain but no thunderstorm for a change. On Wednesday I finally bought some flowering plants to put in window boxes at the front of the house. They look lovely but it looks like we will have to cut down the weeds wild flowers in front as they are practically obscuring the window boxes. Never mind, the poppies are all but finished, now. After dinner the sun came out although everything was in the shade. This Osteospermum is one of the new flowers and the delicate blue background is the reflection of the sky in the window.
