Rocket

Villain turned hero.  Rocket has been around for about 6 or 7 years.  A British Blue like tom cat, despite his diminutive size he has ruled the roost in the street for many years.  He would terrorise our previous cat, Blue, despite being almost twice Rocket's size.  We would shoo him off and generally give him short shrift when he came by.

He's getting on now and has lost some of his ferocity.  In fact he's quite a softee and has become quite a favourite amongst neighbours.  He has started to come along and greet us all as we return from work.  He will often be found sitting on the bonnets of cars looking at our front doors.  Our cat, Fleur, now gives as good as she gets from him and it looks as though she gets the upper hand most of the time.  I just happened to be holding my camera as I walked toward the house as he turned up.  Luckily an extreme wide angle allowed this portrait.
