"Tornado" near Bonnybridge.

She was heading for Stirling and a steam tour special to Inverness this afternoon and back again on Monday. Oh how jealous am I of those passengers!
After a minor panic when we got stuck while a canal boat passed under the lifting bridge, we arrived in position by the trackside. A couple of minutes later, Ali and Euan also turned up. Poor Euan had run out of the house without his jacket so Grandpa volunteered his fleece to keep out little Trainspotter warm.
Tornado arrived bang on schedule and loped past at about 50 per and not even breathing hard. Her recent refit seems to have been very successful.
At least I got to see this beautiful machine from the trackside and not craning out of a coach window, getting soot in my face.
