Instruments of Torture

Some people would describe recorders thus.

However we know better!  Here is (almost) the full range of recorders. Sopranino, Descant, Treble, Tenor, Bass, Great Bass and Contra Bass.  All part of the Eastern Recorder Orchestra (EROS) which has it's annual concerts this weekend.  They make a glorious sound, none of the discord of children's descants :-)  Click Here to hear for yourself.

Jacinta owns and plays most of them .... got her eyes on a Great Bass so only the Conta to go .... that's the one that really does look like an instrument of torture - or at least the case for one!
