Breakey Blips

Last sermon as the assistant curate

The winter sun shone brightly through a north facing window whilst I delivered my final reflection as the Assistant Curate at All Saints.
It felt as if I had a golden glow illuminating me as I stood at the lectern. My vicar Bishop Peter took this image and sent it to me.
It was a special day, and all told, I managed to leave well. The parish was incredibly generous to me, buying a laptop PC for me, putting on 3 delicious morning teas, and presenting me with a beautiful set of vestments, which were set aglow by the sun. The most important thing though, was the sense of love given and received by the parish and its clergy team.
What a wonderful gift, indeed!
