Go Skateboarding Day...

Go Skateboarding Day is today.  It's one of these arbitrary line in the sand days like Talk Like a Pirate day or Valentines.  You don't need to wait until a certain day to speak like a pirate or let Clintons remind you to show affection to those close to you.  I certainly don't need an excuse to go skating and indeed grab every opportunity I  can get these days.

That said, it does give me a good excuse to witter on about the subject and head down to the skatepark to re-affirm my ollie over this barrier which is a lot of fun and was annoying me yesterday.  My legs were gubbed and I couldn't even jump over it let alone take my skateboard with them.
