Vulcan To The Skies

The former RAF Bicester airbase was holding their first air display this weekend, called Flywheel.

The highlight of their air display was going to be XH588, the remaining airworthy Vulcan. It would have flown over our house, or very near by. I kept an eye out, but it never turned up. It would appear there was a problem at the airfield it was taking off from, and it was not going to be visiting Bicester.

Here is my interpretation of what it would have looked like.
