Dads

Today we were thinking about Dads.

I thought about Maurice and what he would make of the world today [Not a lot, probably!] Then I went on to think of all the others we have lost and gave up. Too negative.

I went to a beer festival with another Dad and there were lots of Dad's there having fun.

We walked home to dinner with My dear Father-in-law and had our photo taken in the sun.

We had a good time, but....

We shouldn't need a made-up day to celebrate our family and give,not so silent, thanks for those who have nurtured us from birth. We should do it every day.

And remember, You only get one Dad, when he's gone you can't tell him that you love him anymore.
