The soft light of dusk

My interpretation for Mono Monday Soft. I stood in the middle of a paddock  with sheep all around, freezing, until well after the sun went down, to get this shot.
I'm not so so sure that blue is a soft colour now it's up there.I was expecting a soft pink but that didn't happen tonight.
This is our maunga(mountain) Whare Papa- Mount Arthur. It is in the Kahurangi National Park. One meaning for Kahurangi is blue. So there is a connection there too.
Today was Mr S and my 41st wedding anniversary. We headed off to do some chores in Richmond and then came home the long way via the Kohatu Cafe near Tapawera where we had lunch. Called at Tapawera to see the new gateway to the Kahurangi area which is quite unusual in that it has a lot of blue in it instead of the traditional red, white and black and features a European and a Maori-Brunner and Kehu who traveled the
rough terrain to discover ways through to the West Coast that we take for granted today.
Home in time to attend the museum volunteers thank you afternoon tea.
A different sort of Monday- should do it more often.
