Sunny day at the allotment

The photo above shows a view of the allotment from my plot.  My plot doesn't look so well tended.  It was full of weeds when it was handed over on the 1st June and I wondered if I would have the time to start on it.  But with some help from my husband we have given it a go.  Some of the weeds have been removed over the past few days and the group lawn mower used to provide a pathway, its beginning to look a bit more promising.  The first plants were planted today, courgettes, peas and tomatoes.  There's some more young plants waiting to be planted but we have to do some weeding first.  Monday is going to be a weeding day.
