Rehearsal with Maestro Mendez!

The St Magnus International Festival is now well under way!  We had our final rehearsal with Antonio Mendez this afternoon - this is him in action, rehearsing the Scottish Chamber Orchestra.  He's a superb conductor, makes it very clear what he wants from us and manages to get us to produce it most of the time!  A pleasure to watch in action, especially during the performance, when he was sporting a black frock coat!  Very handsome!

The concert went very well and we had a good sing, the audience seemed to enjoy it too!  

Ollie spent the afternoon with B&J, his babysitters, who gave him toad in the hole and onion gravy for his dinner!!!
