Extreme water sports at Gramma Camp

This week Avery is attending Gramma Camp with Brody, and today we went for some extreme waterfall kayaking........

It was a GREAT day, with adventures on our lake, then at our favorite park where we were walking next to a family of sandhill cranes, sliding down a water slide, and the two children got to feed the chipmunks and birds.   After an ice cream, we made it home just in time before a downpour nearly knocked our lights out.   The puddle in our front yard was perfect for splashing in after the rain!
Now the campers are busy building a wooden pagoda together....what a fun time at camp today!

Extra photos are our other adventures....and they are real photos, no help from Paintshop Pro like the one above!

One other thing that happened today....we got a package all the way from Ireland!!!!   The children were SO excited to open it and see all of the goodies that my friend, Amanda, sent!!   I made her some socks, and she sent a bag full of wonderful surprises!   We were so thrilled with the cards, the beautiful book of hikes in her area (which I would LOVE to do someday!) a packet of seeds, and the childrens' favorite, a chocolate bar made with Irish Honey!!!   Thank you so much, Freespiral, for suggesting the barter system.....I love it!!!!
