Save meye sole

At the beginning of June I was in Reykjavík and noticed that a shoe store that had been closed for more than a decade was actually open. I decided to check it out and it turned out that a woman had bought the store from the widow of the previous owner and planned on opening a café there. But the stock of shoes had been included and she was selling it at a discount. I bought these for 1000 krona, about 5 pounds, and have been using them since. But it turnes out that keeping shoes on a shelf for more than ten years isn't very good for the glue that holds them together so during the camping wedding this weekend the soles came off. So todeye I decided to try and glue them back on with special strength glue putty. Now the putty needs to dry for a day and then we'll see whether meye repair has worked.
