Loo with a view

Tonight's hotel room has possibly the nicest view I have ever seen from a loo. We are at the top of a hill in a pink (!) old building, the Seawood Hotel. At 10 pm I can still see an orange-pink glow on the horizon.

After waiting out the rain in an outlet village (completely unplanned - felt like we had been transported to the U.S.) we made another unscheduled stop at Dunster Castle and ended up spending most of the afternoon there. Fascinating place - bought some of their freshly stone milled flour for bread baking when I get back.

It was late when we carried on and after a brief stop in Lynmouth we ended up in Lynton. The tapas at the Oak Room can be recommended!
