My beautiful niece, named after me, with her family. Her husband, Keith, died completely unexpectedly, aged 33, on Sunday night, leaving her at 32 with four children between 10 and 3. He'd recently started a new job as a chef several hundred miles away from their home in North Texas, hoping that they could soon all join him to be together again. And that's where he was found by a work colleague, though we don't yet know any more details. He had no medical or life insurance and the only bright part is that they both have large and loving extended families, a close and supportive local and church community, and that sister A, Caroline's mum, had arrived back only that day from her six month stay in UK. As you can imagine, we're all devastated, and feeling helpless so far away.
