Pyramid Orchid and .. .. ..

the bug is a bonus!  A patch of the site has been deliberately left uncut (normally the grass has to be of uniform length and standing to attention!) and so we were intrigued.  The site warden pointed out these Anacamptis Pyramidalis or Pyramid Orchids.  Apparently they are quite rare in this country and even rarer Bee orchids grow there too although we didn't see any of those this time.
