Johannisbeeren

is the name for redcurrants here.  We have a bush of them in the garden.  They seem to be doing much better than the strawberries (Erdbeeren) or raspberries (Himbeeren).

Another mixed day weather-wise.  It seemed to rain whenever I was outside.

I went to make an appointment with the gastro-enterology clinic today.  I expected to be given something in August or September.  I have an appointment on Monday.  I shall refuse to think about it until 30 minutes beforehand.
