Beavers to Cubs

Lennons' turn tonight for his investiture into the Cubs from the Beavers.
He was very proud of himself and I thought it was great having done this myself some 58 years ago. There wasn't any Beavers then of course, it was just Cubs, Scouts, Venture Scouts but I didn't join the Ventures as I went into the RAF at 16.
After the investiture we stayed in the hall while they played a compass game teaching them the N, S, E, W and the points in between.
