Prison Steps

These are the steps that lead to the very dark and damp prison cells in Craigmiller Castle. "E" went down to have a look and almost knocked me over in her haste to leave. I wonder how many inmates didn't walk back up the steps again!

The castle is indeed a fascinating place with so many different ways to go. I didn't come across the prison on my visit yesterday. I will visit one more time tomorrow and try and find one more blip! I would like to see some sunshine coming through some of the larger window in the main rooms.
