Roundabout - Whirlpool

The beautiful sunny afternoon working in the garden makes the 24-hours of force-6 gale and torrential rain seem unlikely but here is the proof. This was the Morrison's roundabout in Aberystwyth at about 11:00 this morning - the water got about a foot deeper around high tide. Lots of people suffering - particularly those in caravan parks near Aberystwyth - and I guess that Morrisons and Curry's and the newly opened and stocked B&Q may have large insurance claims for flood damaged goods.
