The Hall of Steel

I attended an 'Archives Networking Meeting' today. It was organised by the West Yorkshire Archive Service and held at the Royal Armouries Museum in Leeds.  After the meeting I had a most enjoyable couple of hours wandering around this amazing museum.  There is just so much to see it demands a revisit - at least one :-)
My blip is of the Hall of Steel. This display is around and inside the stairwell of the museum and consists of mainly 17th century armour and 19th century military equipment. There are over 2,500 objects on display here.
There was just so much to see, I have put another couple of blips in 'extras'.  Japanese Armour and an Armoured Elephant.
The museum is 'Free Entry' - and worth every penny :-)
