Helena ...

The  HELENA, also called 'stevenaak' literally translated as 'stem barge' was built in 1875 for the trade on the river Rhine, all the way to Basel!

She's one of the oldest ships, constructed in iron in the Netherlands and after a thorough restoration in 1998 the ship was brought back under sail again.

The HELENA is now in full authentic state and she is registered by the ministry of culture as a sailing monument of a great and historical value.
