Butterfly

A stunning display of poppies, near the WI bench, at the top of Rivey Woods if anyone local wants an excuse for a walk. Managed to get closish to this butterfly so you have more butterfly and less poppies in the picture, but the poppies are worth climbing the hill for.

Came back from the afternoon's dog walk to find a beautiful bunch of cornflowers leaning against the front door, a delightful and unexpected surprise.  I have worked out they are from the whimsical phantom flower fairy (LL), what a very lovely thing to do..

In a fit of relief and generosity I took the boys to 'Wok N Grill' for an 'all-you-can-eat' Chinese meal, to celebrate the end of the revision and exam period.  Their choice, and they were delighted.  Thank goodness it's all over, now it's just the non-stop parties we have to deal with!
