Glastonbury by chopper!

Flew from Battersea to Winding Lake Farm!
So exciting!

A great first day, we have a fantastic trailer with a loo and shower!!!!

This is all a present from our lovely friends Rachael and Kevin as well as my ticket and passes and the same for Max (except his ticket as he is lead photographer for Silver Hayes), not only that but we have monogrammed towels and personalised plates!!!! Thankyou thankyou!!!

I first came to the festival 33 years ago and I bunked in over the fence, stayed in a crap tent and had my trainers stolen, spent the week in the rain in sandals losing my tent and was ill when I got back, even coming as an Artist which I've done 3 times can be an ordeal in some ways but this has been amazing!

We landed in a field with a teepee in it, we were met by a man in a land-rover, our bags were put in the car forbid and we were driven to the farm where we checked in with no issues and were then driven to our trailers in golf carts!

Hurrah!!!

Kevin, Jay - Kevin's son who is a costume designer and has just had the amazing job of body painting Grace Jones at Hyde Park - he also made her head dress - Max and I went to the bar at the farm to wait for the others to arrive in the cars, copious amounts of Rose were consumed, it's very beautiful here!

Rachael, Trudi, Barb and Alan arrived about 4 and we went back to the trailers to get settled in and then headed off to meet Sally Jackson Freeman, our lovely friend who is head of PR and digital for Silver Hayes, and had a birthday dinner and cocktails and a wander round, yes we are here!!!

Back to our yurt which we brought with us for champagne and then bed!!!!

And so it begins!!!
