All politicians should be forced to have this phrase tattoed, in reverse, on their foreheads so they see it in the mirror every morning.

I would not normally be greatly interested in the american elections, but one thing the current situation has illustrated once and for all is that the politics and economics of one country can seriously affect the whole world.

I feel that in the UK we lost our last chance for a principled, trustworthy leader of parliament when this great man died.

I just hope america makes the right choice this weekend?
