Arriving home late in the mist

Tonight Linda McLaughlin received the Ross Hatswell Community Service award at the Rotary changeover.  Congratulations to Rotary for choosing such a worthy recipient. It's amazing what Linda has done since she arrived in Blackheath in 1981.  Many don't realise, but their lives in Blackheath have been enriched by all her work over these decades.  If only we had more like her.

Also local, Keith Mentiplay (partner or Raelene from Ravir) received the very high honour of the Paul Harris fellow (one of Rotary's highest honours) for his work with dental clinics to the third world.  It was amazing to hear about the work that Keith has done - I thought I knew Keith, but it appears that there is a side to Keith that I never knew existed.

Some people are very humble about what they do.  Here's one, I'd suggest.

Three cheers to both of them.

Six cheers in fact!
