Back To The 80's

Tonight was our turn to watch the school show. It was fabulous. It was clear that the kids were really having fun and gave a high energy, entertaining performance. Daughter's singing voice was not at its best due to the flu/cold that she unfortunately caught at the weekend but it really didn't matter. The audience had a ball singing along to all the 80's songs and laughing at the pop culture references. We were given permission to take a photo at the end but you can imagine the mayhem that produced and hence the poor quality.

Daughter and one of the boys were given gift vouchers due to the extra work they had done with the choreography and, the cast and crew voted for the person that had contributed the most both on and off stage. Daughter won and was awarded the Alex Harvey Memorial Award. Apparently the school has made this award for 36 years. It is a prestigious award and very important within the school. Her teacher was bursting with pride and praise.

Very proud parents.
