Multicultural Leith

Have always been intrigued by this sign outside one of Leith's scrap yards. Why would they think that passersby would need French and German translations of a sign advertising skip hire?! So that a visiting European sailor with no English could dump a whole load of rubbish with ease? Also love the picture and the quaint "invitation" to ask them to demolish something.

Will take some more Leith pictures in future I think.
