Not a bird

Today as the monthly meeting of the U3A birdwatching group. We went to a small local nature reserve but apart from a few grebes, ducks and geese on the water we hardly saw any birds. It turned into an insect/plant watching group by the end. Very disappointing.
These orchids were the most exciting thing I saw so they had to be todays blip.
