Sauce

The day seemed to fritter away starting this morning with a power cut that meant we couldn't boil water for a cup of tea and I had to go round resetting all the clocks when it eventually came back on again. It's like being on holiday in Spain in the 1970's.
The remainder of the day was idled away waiting for a heating engineer coming to find out why we have no hot water being provided from the central heating and him not turning up, again. It's like being in Britain in the 1960's.
We gave eventually gave up and I went for fish and chips for our tea. It's like being in Scotland in the 1950's. I don't get this East coast thing of salt, sauce and vinegar. It's like being in Fife in the 1940's.

So much for life in the 21st century...
