Chicks

Found these cute little Moorhen chicks on my lunchtime walk today. I took my proper camera the following day (this is a backblip)  to try and get a proper photo but it rained so hard I stayed in.

I was also serenaded by a lovely Skylark behind where these chicks are. Of course all that land is going to get built on so there will be no more Skylarks.
