Blue Eyes

Blue everything in fact - Common Blue Damselfly.

A stroll at Whitlingham meadow this afternoon yielded zillions of these guys and gals, a good number of Meadow Brown butterflies and not much else.  Summer heat slowed me down and I spent the rest of my time (waiting for Amy while she had an art lesson) reading in the shade.
