My beloved Oslo - Munch

After a long struggle my old neighborhood (I lived in the white building on the right behind this mural) lost . The Munch museum is moving from the area. 


Steffen Kverneland has made a comic book about Munch and was not happy with that decision. ,When the campaign to get the museum to stay here asked him if they could use his portrait of Munch as a mural, he said gladly yes. The decor painter Monica Tollenes painted the mural. 


I think it is fabulous!


This is the fifth mural in this neighborhood.
Inti, Tree of life that replaced Zed1, the Blue tropical birds that replaced Elvira and  more :-)
