Peregrine Falcon

This is a bit of a cheat blip, the picture was sent to me by my friend Shirley. She works in County Hall on the 10th floor where this chap was sitting on the window ledge.

A pair of Peregrines nest in a specially placed nest box here each year. Sadly this year one of the Chicks flew into one of the windows and died but there are two remaining, this being one of them.

Thank you Shirley for thinking of me as you know I am interested in them! I don't miss CH but I do miss you and the Peregrines xx
