No fog on the Tyne today

Quick trip to newcastle today. Was an ok trip in the new(er) car, just getting used to (much) less acceleration, but it was a smooth quiet ride and cost less in fuel. Shame about the road works and accident both of which left us queuing and wasting 30mins
R came home to a letter from school waiting for her to tell her she has won the A'level English Language and Literature prize. #proudmamma
