Happy

I've always wanted to do this sort of shot - lead in lines, using the rocks, and everything in focus from front to back.  Without bothering to take the tripod and do a long exposure.  I was blessed today with the light in exactly the right place, and at the right angle, and I am so happy with the shot, and with the camera.

I can see I'll have to negotiate time-share with the Rower, for the sake of marital harmony.

I've put a tawny frogmouth into extras, because it's the first time I used the 75-300 lens - very happy.

These birds are the most predictable I have ever seen.  They are in the same tree and the same place every singe day.  So if we are ever stuck for a bird shot, we know we can depend on them.
