Raglan - where all the surfers come!

This is another quick blip, about to join everyone at the local "Club" for dinner tonight and my 24 hour wifi will run out before I get home! We have had a fabulous day, huge thanks to Guide and fellow blipper richardg who has shared so many great spots with us.
After such a windy and horrible start the day has treated us very kindly. We went with Richard to a high point to overlook Raglan for sunrise, but sadly the colour did not eventuate, but still got some reasonable images...I hope.
A leisurely morning helping some of the member come to grips with Lightroom before meeting Richard at a great spot for lunch then off out to the surf beaches for the afternoon. Sadly the sun was shining, creating some harsh shadows, but the surf got up and there were surfers everywhere. The break here at Raglan is well renowned and could have spent ages watching them. Back out for some sunset photos, which I think show some promise, will have to process and share on Flickr later.
Also my extra image was a great surprise....Richard shared his find with us....a tree covered with Monarch Butterflies, just like Miffy's. Quite amazing.
Its been a great day.
