The Von Trapp Family Lodge

We had a lovely drive up to Vermont today through stunning scenery to be welcomed at The Von Trapp Family Lodge for two nights- the highlight of my U.S. visit. ( I can hear you all singing already!)
Tonight we had a lovely dinner, far too many drinks and enjoyed company in the piano bar.
Tomorrow we shall explore the various places of interest- the bakery, brewery etc. This is definitely a fascinating place and a good choice in the 50th year of celebrating 'The Sound of Music.'
