Some intricate work being done here on a small piece of what I think is fake ivory. At work we've been doing some research into how ivory is sold within Cambodia. The country is an important transit route for ivory into Vietnam as its ports are easier to negotiate and governance is slacker. There is lots of real (we think African ivory) on sale in Phnom Penh yet most is fake and sold at high prices to unwitting tourists.
