Vets gun carriage race

I went out today in the hope of catching the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight that was due to make a fly past at one of the many Armed Forces day events around the country today. Unfortunately, I had limited time, and sadly, the planes were running late and I had to leave before they arrived.

While I was waiting though, a group of army vets were running a gun carriage race. Not the big gins you see at the military tattoos, but still, this little one needed lots of effort. I've put a couple more shots here!

After tis, it was off on a bit of what turned out to be a wild goose chase, but, that's another story.
