Afternoon Delight

Can you believe that I had not taken a single picture before mid-afternoon?  Paying bills, lunch and shopping with a friend had taken precedence, and now, rain was threatening any outdoor activity.  As the thunder began to growl and the skies began to change, I started out for a short walk.  Out of the corner of my eye, I saw a tiny movement, this very small butterfly, who very obligingly stayed just long enough for me to get a few shots before the raindrops started to fall.  I believe that this is a Common Checkered Skipper....
