Oystercatcher and chick

The chick now looking very much like the adult. There are still two and they didn't seem to be flying yet but it can't be long now. I expect this may be my last shot of them before they fly and then I don't know where they will be.

A day of very warm sun and very heavy showers. I spent most of the day in my polytunnel clearing and sorting. One more week at work before I am off for a few weeks.
