HOVERFLY

At about a quarter inch long, this hoverfly made a pretty picture in miniature on this tiny, bright flower.  (No color enhancement.)  Love the way the delicate wings sparkle in the sunshine.  I'm always amazed at the incredible detail in the markings on the backs of these tiny insects.
