Mono Monday - Lines

After being away for the past three days, I ended up having another "social" sort of a day. We took four couples for a trip out on the lake, they were friends from our early years and had come to spend a few days in Rotorua as a celebration trip - they have all had 50th wedding anniversaries this year...a pretty great acheivement.

Although it didn't rain, it ended up being very blustery on the lake, so after a stop at Hot Water Beach we pulled into this sheltered bay for a lunch stop.

I do love the structure of the native manuka trees that line the edge of the lake with the straight lines of their trunks creating great patterns.

Thanks so much everyone for all the wonderful comments on yesterdays Raglan Wharf photos, I am getting behind with comments...sorry.
