Portsmouth Harbour...

A slight haze hangs over the Isle of Wight, obscuring most of the detail that might have been seen from this distance. Ryde is still visible just right of centre on the Islands coastline. Below the Isle of Wight, Portsmouth stands to the Left of the harbour entrance and Gosport to the Right. In the near foreground is Port Solent on the Left, Portchester Castle to the right.
The air was beautifully fresh and crisp at 6 o clock this morning, that will be lost as the temperature heads for the forecast 28 degrees this afternoon. Summer has arrived.
