An unexciting effort for MonoMonday, but I reckon there have to be some boring shots to make the others look semi-decent...

D Day - dreich, dull and drizzly here, but the sun seems to be shining for the first day of Wimbledon, which is good news both for players and spectators.

At the weekend I started a new book - 'Instructions for a Heatwave' by Maggie O'Farrell - and I'm hooked already. I've read a few of her novels and each one has been excellent; this latest one is no different.
