Son of Thomas and Ann Hodgman, of 49, Baxtergate, Whitby; husband of Jane Hodgman, of Esk Valley, Grosmont, Yorks. Also served at Gallipoli and in Egypt.

My great relative on my Grandad's side. His name adorns a wooden plaque in the Abbey at Whitby.
